To prepare your skin for self-tanning, exfoliate before application with our exfoliating mitt. This can be done once a week or whenever your skin needs it. Use it in the shower with both skin and mitt wet. Make upward movements to sweep away self-tanner residue or dead skin. Shake the mousse before use. Apply the product with the +SUN BATH applicator mitt using circular, upward movements to distribute and blend the product over your skin. Use the color of the foam's trace when applied to the skin as a guide to cover all areas you want to tan and avoid patches or spots. Avoid applying too much product in areas such as: elbows, wrists, ankles, knees. You can gently clean these areas with a damp cloth to prevent product buildup. Wash hands with soap after application. The tan color will gradually activate within 4-6 hours after application; avoid sweating and contact with water during the activation period. After the waiting period, rinse with water to remove excess product (without soap) and enjoy your on-point tan. PRO TIP: before self-tanning, apply hand cream to difficult areas (elbows, wrists, ankles, knees) to prevent product buildup in these areas, giving you a more natural and even result.
